  • Olympia’s gym area is stocked with lots of miniature workout equipment, so she can sweat right next to mom.

    It’s no surprise that tennis pro Serena Williams has an epic home gym. (After all, the hours spent on the tennis court are just a part of his training!)

    But in his last Instagram story video, Serena revealed that she wasn’t the only one sweating at home. Walking around her gym, the 23-time Grand Slam winner mentions that she plans to rearrange to make room for new equipment.

    And, pushed against the mirror are a few pieces of a lot smaller Machines. Turns out her 4-year-old daughter, Olympia, also enjoys exercising.

    “My little baby has materials,” Serena shares. “She has an elliptical trainer, then the Stairmaster or the treadmill, and then she has a little bike.” Small toy versions just might be the cutest things I’ve seen all week, TBH:

    While it’s clear that Serena has made her training a science, she is also committed to a balanced diet. “My philosophy is to eat to live. Don’t live to eat,” she shared with Women’s health. “I want to have a healthy lifestyle and, you know, [I’m eating] lots of green and mostly plant-based veggies lately, just super healthy stuff. ”

    The athlete added that she tries to see food as another aspect of her life. “You need it to survive. And [that’s] very difficult to live with, because I really like to snack, but that’s what I want. These are my goals, ”she said.

    As for what she eats on a daily basis, Serena has made it clear that she isn’t very the breakfast type. “I just forget where I run to prepare for Olympia,” she explained. “And then I’m going to workout… When I roll out of bed [in the morning], I’m just not hungry. ”

    For lunch, she usually has protein with a side of green vegetables, like a gluten-free bean burrito or a bean burger. Dinner could be a recipe she found on social media. “I take inspiration from what I see on Instagram and love doing it,” Serena said.

    The only thing she’s not great for? Pasta (I know!). “The only time I eat pasta is when I’m playing / training,” she explained. “Usually, you’ll never see me eat pasta any other way. Because I feel like I must have eaten so much in my career. It’s like I never want to see pasta again.

    The same goes for other foods: “I can have a smoothie for six months,” she added. “And then I’ll be like, I never want to see a smoothie again for the next six months. And then I’ll be like, okay, I’m back on the smoothie. My eating is very grim.”
