TEXARKANA, Texas – In a tiny studio tucked away on the Texan side of the North State Line, a family-run fitness studio pulls guests through the beats. Offering an eclectic range of classes and fitness, the studio combines method and movement to achieve their results. Open for about a year, the studio has helped its students stay in shape and overcome the stresses of everyday life.
“I run a family studio,” said Andrea Smith. “Not only do we encourage a family environment, but I own the place and manage it with my cousin, Shantikwa Smith.
The studio meets in the morning and evening, depending on the day and the class. They take their students through a variety of fitness activities. Various routines in small groups, with fitness dance, Zumba and more. They also offer virtual and zoom courses for those who want to stay virtual.
They even have Twerking (type of dance) classes coming up and a Twerking Instructor Certification Program.
