Green Lake Fitness to Relaunch Operations in New Location | New

Three years after becoming the operator of Green Lake Fitness owned by Town Square Community Center, Colton Burt moved the popular fitness center to another location in Green Lake.

“We are thrilled with the success of the fitness center under Colton’s leadership,” said Mary Cyrier, president of Green Lake Renewal, the non-profit organization that operates the Town Square Community Center. “As we have done with so many other entrepreneurs who started in Town Square and then moved into the community (most recently Dan Hutter of Moboevo Electric Bikes), we are delighted to see this business grow beyond Town Square walls. . “

Green Lake Fitness was launched in Town Square just a year after the community center opened and, within eight years, has grown into a well-known community asset.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to invite Alexander Co. to transform the old security building into a residential development bringing more people to live in downtown Green Lake,” said Cyrier. “We have been working for over a year on a potential condo development there and have been in talks with Colton since January to plan a possible move of the fitness center.”

Burt has several nearby locations under consideration, and a decision and schedule are expected soon.

“Our business has grown rapidly over the past two years,” said Burt. “And we are excited to announce our new location in Green Lake. We are grateful to the Town Square Community Center for helping us get started here in Green Lake.
