There are many things that make this industrial chic penthouse in the Lower Mills area of ​​Dorchester, including its history.

The 2,390 square foot condo at 1245 Adams Street is located in the former Walter Baker chocolate factory, the the country’s leading chocolate maker.

Although production of the famed Baker’s Chocolate has long since ceased on site, the exposed brick walls and 18-foot ceilings in this unit’s open-plan living and dining area won’t make you forget the past life of the building.

Unit B609 offers two bedrooms, three full bathrooms and a powder room. It hit the market on February 28 for $1,649,000.
