Cleveland State to host Mastodon Men’s Golf on Monday
FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Purdue Fort Wayne Men’s Golf Team will travel to the Lakewood Country Club in Westlake, Ohio for the Cleveland State Tom Tontimonia Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.

Kasey lilly, Tyler Green, Brett Seward, Burke Pitz and Reece compton will compete for the Mastodons this week. There will be no individuals.

Horizon League preview
The Tom Tontimonia Invitational will feature nine of the 10 Horizon League teams on the pitch. The only league member who will not be in attendance will be Wright State.
No record is safe
In three tournaments, Kasey lilly broke records for 18, 36 and 54 holes this season. He opened the year with a record 54 holes at the EKU Intercollegiate, then beat it again at the Earl Yestingmeier Invitational with a 204. Lilly then smashed the 18 hole record with a 64 at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational . On day one of the Earl Yestingmeier Invitational, Lilly broke the 36 hole record with a 135.
Down the fairway
Tyler Green is only one turn away from the minimum of a single season. His 71.67 average this season would rank first in scorers in a single season, but his teammate, Kasey lilly, will also qualify after the first round this week. Lilly is averaging 69.56 this season.
All before the best
Kasey lilly has finished in the top 10 six times during his career, including two already this season. In this season’s first tournament, Lilly finished sixth at the EKU Fall Intercollegiate, then finished second at the Earl Yestingmeier Invitational.
He’s pretty tee-rific
After more than two seasons with the ‘Donations, Kasey lilly holds the Purdue Fort Wayne program record for career average score of 72.65. He is also the leader in win / loss percentage with a 0.805 win percentage. Last season, Lilly had a 72.6 best 14-round average with a 0.858 winning percentage. Over nine rounds in her junior season, Lilly is averaging 69.56 over 18 holes.
The last time the Mastodons took the course, Kasey lilly was second at the Earl Yestingmeier Invitational. As a team, Purdue Fort Wayne took fourth place in the 13-team field.

The Mastodons will travel to Kettering, Ohio on October 18-19 for the Dayton Flyer Invitational at NCR Country Club.
