Fluid X is one of the first companies to design this product for the mass market. With the introduction of the boba: a water bag in the shape of a ball, everyone from yogis to seniors can train with weights in a fun and effective way. Due to the unstable weight of water, even the simple act of picking up a water bag engages the core without trying.

Research shows that training with instability improves physical rehabilitation and maximizes performance in athletes, making it ideal for people at all levels of their fitness journey. A Sports Health Journal study also found that instability training helped increase activation of trunk muscles about 47.3% on average.

Unlike traditional weights found in the gym, the constantly moving water in a water bag mimics the instability of sports like rugby, judo and tennis. Fluid X comes in Tank or Boba form, with four sizes and a weight of 7-20 kg when fully filled. Users can easily adjust the weight by adjusting the water level and challenge their coordination and instability control.

Sister team and fitness enthusiasts Wendy and Winnie Cheung say, “When the pandemic hit, the gyms closed and we had no choice but to train at home. We missed the community and camaraderie in the gym. Thus was born the Fluid X: a workout where everyone, even the elderly, can do at home and not get bored.”

The Fluid X has created a library of innovative workouts and fitness guides on its website as well as a recent collaboration with TodayFit, a personal training app. To learn more, please visit: https://www.thefluidx.com/.

About Fluid X

Fluid X was founded by a sister team Winnie and Wendy Cheung, two serial entrepreneurs with a vision to create a community of trainers and fitness enthusiasts coming together for fun and challenging workouts. Bored with typical at-home workouts, the two were introduced to training with aqua bags and were immediately inspired by the fitness product’s versatility. Their initiatives include launching the first-ever accessible water bags, working with personal trainers and world-class health resorts, and encouraging individuals to lead healthy, vibrant lives.

Actor Ishaan Khatter comes from a family of fitness enthusiasts. The Dhadak actor is often seen exercising with his brother Shahid Kapoor and sister-in-law Mira Rajput Kapoor. Moreover, it includes strength training, cardio, weightlifting and different exercise routines to stay in shape. Even her latest video is proof of Ishaan’s dedication to fitness, and she’ll get you pumped for the weekend as well. It shows the star showing off her fit physique and engaging in speed and agility drills at the gym.

On Friday, celebrity fitness trainer Karan Sawhney, known for training Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna, posted a clip of himself and Ishaan working out at the gym. The duo trained hard and did a quick routine in the video. “@ishaankhatter, @robin_behl14 and I are into speed agility,” Karan captioned the post. Scroll forward to take a look. (Also read: Ishaan Khatter’s Climbing Photos Are Proof He’s India’s Spider-Man)

The video begins with a shirtless Ishaan doing quick leg work to strengthen his lower body, followed by a balance on the Bosu Ball to improve his agility. The star, dressed in black track pants, nailed the fast-paced routine and got us pumped up for the weekend.

What is Velocity and Agility training?

Velocity training is strength training that relies on moving speed rather than simply lifting weights. This forces athletes to sprint faster and jump higher depending on the routine. On the other hand, agility training is a convenient and effective method for adding intensity, variety, and functional movement to a well-rounded fitness program.

Benefits of Velocity and Agility Training

This workout helps increase athleticism, functional core strength, dynamic flexibility, control and balance. It also improves speed and recovery time, reduces the risk of injury, burns fat, strengthens bones and strengthens the mind-body connection.

Meanwhile, Ishaan will be seen next in Gurmmeet Singh’s film Phone Bhooth, which will also star actors Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Jackie Shroff. He also has Raja Menon’s film Pippa in the works, which will also star Priyanshu Painyuli and Mrunal Thakur.

Update:

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Navy said Wednesday that the Naval Special Warfare sailor killed in a training accident in Virginia was Electronics Technician 1st Class Ryan DeKorte of Lubbock, Texas.

DeKorte died Monday of injuries sustained late last week in a helicopter landing incident during an exercise at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story in Virginia. He was 35 years old.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the DeKorte family. Ryan was an exceptional teammate, and we mourn his tragic loss,” said Rear Admiral HW Howard III, Commander Naval Special Warfare Command. “Ryan was one of our finest combat support technicians, possessing all the attributes that make our force combat ready for very complex, high risk missions in the defense of the nation.”

Howard said “DeKorte’s humility, stewardship, and commitment to Naval Special Warfare left an indelible mark on his teammates and our community.”

According to a Navy official, the helicopter suffered a hard landing near DeKorte, who was on the ground and not in the plane. The official spoke on condition of anonymity to provide details that have not yet been made public.

DeKorte joined the Navy in 2014. After his initial training, he served aboard the USS Jason Dunham, a Navy destroyer, before being assigned to Naval Special Warfare in 2020.

His identity has been withheld until Wednesday due to family notifications.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.

WALLINGFORD – Local paramedics are now certified to provide advanced intubation technique. The certification process was set up with the help of Hartford Healthcare.

Fire Lt. Mike Krupinski said the technique, called rapid sequence intubation, involves putting a patient to sleep and/or paralyzing a patient so they can be intubated. Intubation involves putting a tube down the throat to keep the airway open. Krupinski said a body’s natural defenses can sometimes cause a patient’s body to be intubated, so this process will make it easier to get life-saving treatment.

Krupinski said with traffic accidents and the fact that Gaylord Specialty Healthcare is in town, there was a need for this type of service. Fire department research showed that about one patient per month could have benefited from the technique. The fire department created the training program with help from Hartford Healthcare to ensure it was on par with state protocols, Krupinski said.

Nicholas DeVito, firefighter/paramedic, said using rapid sequence intubation will result in better patient outcomes.

Dr. Sean Caffyn, EMS Medical Director for Hartford Healthcare, worked with the department on the training and certification process.

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity…” Caffyn said. “You need well-trained and talented people.”

Fire Chief Joseph Czentnar was at the fire station Wednesday to greet the paramedics who completed the training. He said he was proud of his staff for creating the training in-house and appreciated Hartford Healthcare’s role.

“Congratulations to the paramedics for their response,” Czentnar said. “I am proud that we offer this service to the community. »

Krupinski said the training meant a lot of studying and learning new skills.

“That’s something we can’t get wrong,” Krupinski said. “They rose to the challenge and rose to the challenge.”

BROOKLYN –The Brooklyn Nets have unveiled their 75th anniversary NBA legacy project — renovating and reopening the fitness facility at the Joseph Miccio Community Center, operated by Good Shepherd Services in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

To commemorate the NBA’s 75th anniversary, teams across the league worked hard to renovate spaces in their communities. The Miccio Community Center serves families in NYCHA Red Hook homes with programs throughout the year, providing a safe space for young people to learn and play. The center’s fitness room was damaged during Hurricane Ida in 2021, rendering the space unusable so far, and as part of this renovation, the Nets provided treadmills, a cycle machine, weights and racks, benches and other multifunctional equipment, as well as the installation of three murals in the space.

The Nets have a longstanding relationship with the Miccio Community Center — dating back to when the team moved to Brooklyn in 2012 — and one of the key ways the two organizations align is through a shared commitment to service. the community.

“We have identified Miccio Community Center as our 75th anniversary legacy project because we have seen their impactful work firsthand and seen the tremendous need for support,” said Mandy Gutmann, executive vice president of community relations. and communications at BSE Global, parent company of the Brooklyn Nets and the Barclays Center. “We saw the damage caused by Hurricane Ida and knew we had to help. Miccio’s work is vital to Red Hook and we are proud to join our amazing community partners who have all helped bring our vision to life. We hope that together we can continue to use the power of sport to have a lasting and positive impact and that this fitness center will inspire the residents of the neighborhood.

“I am so grateful to the Brooklyn Nets for making the fitness facility renovation possible for our young NYCHA participants,” said Michelle Yanche, Executive Director of Good Spread Services. “Le Miccio offers young people a safe space to learn and play. The renovated fitness facility will create new programming opportunities for our youth and the community, and we are all thrilled with the impact this will have on all of our program participants.

“To have our space renovated in this way is not only a great privilege and honor, but it is also a great opportunity to serve our youth,” said Roland Knight, Senior Director of Programs at the Joseph Miccio Community Center. “It was a pleasure to work with the Nets. I can’t begin to talk about how important this is to our community, and I look forward to continuing our partnership.

The renovated fitness center at the Joseph Miccio Community Center officially opened on Wednesday, May 4 following a ribbon-cutting ceremony with board member Alexa Aviles, Gutmann, Yanche, Knight, Nets legend Albert King and students involved in various community center programs.
